Crycket is a fiercely rebellious and sometimes reckless young mouse. He refuses to merely settle for the low social status that the other villagers have placed upon him and his family. Even though he is an extremely intelligent, fast and agile mouse, he is viewed by them as nothing more than a poor, delinquent outcast. He is determined to prove them wrong.

Unfortunately, his mischievous behavior and his disregard for tradition usually place him and ragtag group of friends in trouble.
